• Label receives 80% of Net Sales Revenue

Platform Exclusive Releases

Choose to release exclusively through shindigsDNB digital and benefit from an enhanced revenue share.

Revenue Share

• Label receives 90% of Net Sales Revenue

• shindigsDNB digital receives 10% of Net Sales Revenue

Exclusive Digital Acquisitions

For selected releases, shindigsDNB digital may acquire exclusive digital distribution rights under a separate agreement.

Revenue share applies to Net Sales Revenue after payment processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and applicable taxes.

Label Terms

No Upload Fees

There are no upload fees, annual fees, listing fees or subscription charges.

Rights Ownership

Artists and labels retain full ownership of all master recordings, copyrights, artwork and intellectual property.

Non-Exclusive Distribution

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, releases are distributed on a non-exclusive basis.

Labels remain free to continue selling music through other retailers, distributors and digital platforms.

Payments

Payments are made monthly together with a detailed sales report.

Promotion

shindigsDNB digital may promote releases through the website, social media, editorial content, email marketing and events.

Removal Requests

Artists and labels may request the removal of releases at any time. Removal requests will be processed as quickly as reasonably possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who owns my masters?

You retain 100% ownership of your master recordings and copyrights at all times.

Can I continue working with my current distributor?

Yes.

Standard Releases and Platform Exclusive Releases are non-exclusive unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The only partnership model requiring exclusive digital rights is an Exclusive Digital Acquisition.

How often are payments made?

Payments are made monthly together with a detailed sales report.

What formats do you accept?

We currently accept high-quality WAV masters together with release artwork and metadata.
