shindigsDNB Digital has been created by people with genuine roots within the Drum & Bass community. The platform was founded by the creator of BrainRave Music and former Label Manager at Renegade Hardware, with the aim of creating an additional community-led outlet for labels, artists and fans.

Our objective is simple:

To provide another place for Drum & Bass music to be discovered, supported and sold under fair and transparent terms.

Unlike larger digital retailers serving multiple genres, shindigsDNB Digital is focused exclusively on Drum & Bass culture.

This allows us to concentrate entirely on supporting the labels, artists and community that make the scene what it is.

This creates additional opportunities for promotion, visibility and audience engagement beyond digital sales alone.

Direct Communication

Labels work directly with the people operating the platform. There are no automated support systems or large corporate structures. We believe direct communication creates stronger relationships and allows us to better support the labels and artists we work with.

Our goal is not to compete directly with Beatport or replicate the scale of historical download stores.

By utilising existing infrastructure, marketing channels and community resources, the platform is able to operate with significantly lower overheads than many traditional digital music retailers. This allows revenue generated through platform commissions to be reinvested into platform development, promotion and long-term sustainability.
