About charlysayz
Born and bred in Brighton, charlysayz was surrounded by music from an early age. His passion for music truly took hold after discovering early '90s hip-hop, dance and rock, before a friend introduced him to DJing.
In the mid-'90s, as hardcore split into happy hardcore and jungle, everything changed. Watching jungle being played on Channel 4's The Word sparked an instant connection, and from that moment he was hooked. That defining experience marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for Drum & Bass and the sound that continues to inspire him today.
