About DUNK

Hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, Dunk has spent more than fifteen years developing a distinctive sound within Drum & Bass. First recognised as one half of the acclaimed duo Jam Thieves, he helped establish a reputation for deep, bass-driven minimal productions before launching his solo project in 2020.

As a solo artist, Dunk has refined his approach even further, focusing on the ebb and flow of a track rather than relying on constant intensity. His productions are built around subtle movement, rolling grooves and carefully crafted atmospheres, allowing every element to evolve with purpose. This understated style has become a defining characteristic of his music.

His work has appeared on respected labels including Dispatch Recordings, Innerground Records and Formation Records, earning support for its authentic, minimal take on contemporary Drum & Bass while remaining firmly connected to the genre's underground roots.
